I studied Nutrition at Arizona State University and let me tell you, it was an awesome education.
I learned about Macro Nutrients: Protein, Carbohydrates - both simple and complex, Fat, Water and Micro Nutrients, Vitamins and Minerals, Calories and a whole host of other fascinating things about what we should and should not eat and why. I also learned how our bodies use and discard the foods we put into them. Did you know your brain burns calories? No lie, it takes calories to create all those thoughts that keep you up all night.
So, from time to time I plan to share that info with you so we can learn and grow together.
